Think Safe. Act Safe. Be Safe

This course teaches that when faced with a fire in the workplace, your two options are to extinguish or evacuate. Just as in real life, this training explores both options.

EXTINGUISH
In this option, you'll learn how to safely and effectively extinguish a fire using a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and fire hose, including which equipment to use and why. You will also learn to recognise the conditions that indicate you need to leave the fire and evacuate instead.

EVACUATE

Here we explain how to evacuate a building using our four-step acronym H.E.R.O. These steps will support you and your workmates to evacuate safely and teach you how to assist the situation by working with the firefighters on arrival at the scene.
